Overview
Ciclesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid used for management of asthma. Ciclesonide is an extra-fine, once-daily formulation with a targeted on-site activation. Ciclesonide, which is a prodrug, is converted into the active form within the airways. Studies show that Ciclesonide is safer as compared to other steroids.
